The Glendale Heights Police Department continues to host an annual Junior Police Academy Camp for area boys and girls ages 11 - 14. The week long camp allows children to learn about the role police officers serve in the community. Junior Police Academy "Cadets" will learn what it takes to become a police officer:
Junior Police Academy is held at Safety Town from June 12 - June 16. The cost of this week long camp is $85 for residents and $105 for non-residents.
