  • Valentines for Veterans are due February 2 by 4:30pm. Drop off Valentines Day cards to Village facilities. Note: Do not include envelopes, personal contact info or glitter!
  • Make an appointment at the Golden Shears Salon at the Center for Senior Citizens for a haircut, color, manicure and more! Call 630.260.6050 for an appointment!
  • There is no parking allowed on any Village street for 24 hours after a snowfall of 2 inch or more and there is no parking allowed on any Village street for 72 hours after a snowfall of 5 inch or more.
  • Book your event at a Village facility today! From weddings to showers to meetings, we have space available! Contact the Sports Hub, Center for Senior Citizens or Glendale Lakes Golf Club!

(English) Join Village President Chodri Ma Khokhar and the Village Board for a special public input meeting as we look towards the future of Glendale Heights! This meeting will be held on Saturday, January 29th starting at 10:00 am in the Village Hall Council Chambers or join us on Zoom with meeting ID: 886 9947 6155 Passcode: 304851. This invitation is extended to all residents, businesses and agencies that are invested in the Glendale Heights community. This is a time for those dedicated to improving Glendale Heights to express their concerns, ask questions, and give their input towards helping make Glendale Heights a great community for all people. Village Newsletter, Calendar and PRF Guide to be Mailed to every Residence
After hearing the concerns from residents about the Village no longer mailing the newsletter, calendar and PRF Guide to every residence in Glendale Heights, the Village Board has agreed to return to sending the newsletter and calendar to every residence. Both the January/February Village Newsletter and the 2022 Village Calendar will be mailed to every residence within the next couple of weeks as soon as they are printed. In the meantime, we encourage residents to access the digital versions of these publications (above).

Holiday Lights Recycling
The Village of Glendale Heights is collecting broken or unused holiday lights through Elgin Recycling! Lights can be dropped off at the Public Works Garage located at 1635 Glen Ellyn Road on weekdays from 7:30am – 3:00pm. Lights accepted for recycling include all colors and lengths of mini-lights, C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, and LED lights. For more information on holiday lights recycling, please call 630.260.6000.

Valentines for Veterans
Join the Village of Glendale Heights in celebrating National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Month by participating in the Valentines for Veterans collection efforts. Annually, the Village delivers beautifully written and decorated valentines collected from the community to Illinois veteran homes and veteran hospitals. Drop off your valentines at Village Hall by Wednesday, February 2nd to ensure a timely delivery for Valentine’s Day. Please do not decorate your cards with glitter, include social media contact information, nor include envelopes with the cards. If you have any questions, please call Nicole Lewis at 630.909.5327.

Glendale Heights Police partners with Rescue Our Children Organization
The Glendale Heights Police Department is proud to partner with Rescue Our Children Organization (R.O.C.O.) to host FREE birthday parties at Safety Town for children/families experiencing hardship or other COVID-19 pandemic related reasons! Parties are for kids ages 2-18. If you are interested, please contact Tanya Macko at 630.909.5459 to schedule your special day.
