The Glendale Heights Police Department announced it is stepping up enforcement for the Memorial Day "Click It or Ticket" campaign May 13–31, 2022 and reminds motorists to buckle up. "Click It or Ticket" focuses on safety education and law enforcement support to save lives.

"Seat belts have proven to be one of the best ways to save your life in a crash," said Deputy Chief Kelley Darre. "Unfortunately, many still don’t buckle up. Worse yet, not wearing a seat belt is a habit that can be passed on to younger generations who follow the example set by their elders."

The Village of Glendale Heights is conducting a survey of residents through the help of Northern Illinois University's Center for Governmental Studies. The survey will help us to understand residents’ opinions of living in Glendale Heights, Village provided services, and the areas that the Village should focus its attention on. The findings of the survey will help the Village plan for the future. Randomly selected households will be sent the survey via email and mail. All responses are confidential. If your household is randomly selected to receive the survey, please complete it by June 3, 2022. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email our Public Relations Division at
