Public Works Letter to Residents Regarding Water Monitoring Requirements
The Village of Glendale Heights is required to sample drinking water for certain contaminants on a regular basis. Samples collected during the monitoring period of October I 0, 2024 through October 24, 2024 were collected one day prior to the designated monitoring period and therefore considered noncompliant by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA). However, during this testing period, the Village was found to be within all IEPA monitoring requirements for these contaminants, and there is no cause for concern. All drinking water is considered to be at safe levels according to the IEPA.
