IEPA Water Inspection
On May 28th, 2019, the IEPA undertook an engineering evaluation/audit of the Village’s water distribution system. These evaluations are undertaken periodically to ensure public water systems are operating efficiently and within the guidelines established by the EPA. We are pleased to advise you that the results of their evaluation/audit demonstrated that the Village’s water system is being properly operated and maintained, as well as being protected against the entrance of contaminants.

The Future of Camera Park
Submit your ideas via social media on things you would like to see for Camera Park by Wednesday, July 31 at 4:30pm. These ideas are for Camera Park specifically. Although your ideas may not be included in the final plans for Camera Park, your ideas or suggestions may be included in the plans for another community park. Please join us on Tuesday, August 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Glendale Heights Civic Center Campus (300 Civic Center Plaza) to see the various blueprint options for new features at Camera Park. Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Transition Plan
The Village of Glendale Heights has an expansive pedestrian system that links neighborhoods, schools, recreational resources, government facilities, retail centers and business establishments. Pedestrian accessibility provides benefits not only for people with disabilities, but for the community at large. In an effort to continuously improve the pedestrian system, the Village of Glendale Heights has prepared, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Transition Plan. The Village of Glendale Heights invites the public to comment and provide input to the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Transition Plan until July 2019.
