Volunteers Needed to Help Plant Memorial Day Flags
On Thursday, May 23, join the Village of Glendale Heights in helping plant flags each representing a fallen soldier from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan. Cop on the Rooftop benefiting the Illinois Special Olympics
Join the Glendale Heights Police Department on Friday, May 17 from 5:00 am to noon as we help raise funds for the Illinois Special Olympics at Cop on the Rooftop! The Glendale Heights Police Department Is teaming up with Dunkin Donuts in Glendale Heights (2130 Bloomingdale Rd and 22W251 North Ave) to sell merchandise and solicit donations all benefiting the Illinois Special Olympics. 2024-2025 Village Vehicle Stickers on Sale Now!
The new vehicle sticker must be displayed by 12:00am on July 1st on the lower right hand corner of the windshield. Passenger vehicle stickers are $15, motorcycle tags are $12, recreational vehicle stickers are $18, and trucks with B plates are $25. There is an additional price schedule for trucks based on their individual weights. The Village is now offering a new “Forever Vehicle Sticker” for senior citizens age 62 or better. One free “Forever Vehicle Sticker” is issued per qualifying household. . Village Ordinance restricts overnight parking on Village streets to those vehicles having a valid vehicle sticker. Free Medical Clinic Sponsored by UChicago Medicine AdventHealth
Join the Village of Glendale Heights and UChicago Medicine AdventHealth for a free medical clinic on Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. This clinic is free and open to the public to help those who cannot afford healthcare insurance. Families and children are welcome! Services include chiropractic care, dental exams, diabetes and nutrition education, eye exams, lab screenings (glucose, urinalysis, pregnancy), orthopedics, pediatrics (school/sports physicals), pharmacy, physical therapy, podiatry and primary care.
