Grab your fishing poles and tackle box and join us for a great day of fishing. The Village of Glendale Heights, in conjunction with the Glendale Heights F.O.P., are sponsoring a free fishing derby at Lake Becerra (Heritage Park). Registration begins at 9:00 am along with the opening of the casting skill area. The derby will promptly start at 10:00 am and will end at 12:30 pm with trophy presentations to follow. This catch and release derby is designed to be loads of fun with many chances to win prizes. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Trophies will be awarded in the following categories: 6 & under, 7 - 10 years old and 11 - 15 years old. Catch us at the free event.
