The Street Division will strive to maintain the roadway infrastructure in quality condition year round, through sound fiscal use of available resources, long range plans, and cooperative efforts of residents, employees, and elected officials.

New Street Sweeping Program Began In April 2010

In a continual effort to enhance services to Glendale Heights residents, the Street Division is proud to announce the acquisition of a new Schwarze A7000 Regenerative Air Street Sweeper.

To enable an efficient and effective street sweeping schedule, as well as additional maintenance of underground utilities, sidewalks, and parkways, the Village will be divided into four zones. Parking on streets will be prohibited between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm one specific day each week in each zone. “No Parking” signs have been posted throughout the Village. Enforcement of the "No Parking" shall begin July 19, 2010.

Red Zone - No Parking on Mondays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Blue Zone - No Parking on Tuesdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Green Zone - No Parking on Wednesdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Brown Zone - No Parking on Fridays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
