Grab your tackle box and your poles and join us for a great day of fishing. The Village of Glendale Heights in conjunction with the Glendale Heights F.O.P , are sponsoring a fishing derby in Heritage Park at Lake Becerra. Registration begins at 9:00 am, along with the opening of the casting skill area. The Derby will promptly start at 10:00 am and will end at 12:30 pm, with trophy presentations to follow. This "Catch and Release" derby is designed to be loads of fun with many chances to win prices. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Trophies will be awarded in the following categories: 6 & under, 7-10 years old, and 11-15 years old. Catch us at this Event!

Moms and Daughters, enjoy a Victorian tea party at our beautiful Historic House here in Glendale Heights! You and your daughter will be amazed at how life was in these days! Bring your favorite doll for cookies, cupcakes, tea and of course, pink lemonade. This wonderful home will take you back in time to the 1800s! The party will include a tour through each room of the local landmark. Dress in your favorite little dress – photos will be taken. Each attendee will make her own keepsake to take home to remember this special day! Pre-registration is required and limited to 10 children (with parent).
