| Remote Control Boat Races |
Saturday, July 30, throughout day - during adult swims
In honor of Lake DePue in Illinois being the site of the Pro National Championships and our own Recreation Supervisor, Bill DePue; the Aquatic Center will host its own Boat Racing Championships. Remote control boats will compete for fun and prizes.

| Battle of the Bands |
Saturday, August 6, 12:00 pm–5:00 pm
The Aquatic Center will be transformed into a concert venue for the IPRA Battle of the Bands Regional competition. Every year this event attracts hundreds of fans. Lay on the grass, sit in the stands, lounge on a chair or lay in the pool! How you enjoy the performances is up to you. Each band won their local competition and has advanced to compete in the Regionals. The top finishers in this competition advance to the State Championships in Springfield!
FEE: $5 or Pool Pass

Saturday, August 20, 2:00 pm–4:00 pm
The Aquatic Center will be transformed into a Zoo and our lifeguards will become zookeepers! Bring your inflatable animals and join us for games and tons of fun.

| Aquatic Center Birthday Parties |
Bring the party to the Aquatic Center and leave the cooking and fun to us! All you have to do is bring the cake. Parties begin at 11:30 am (before opening to the public) with fun and games until 12:00 pm. From 12:00 – 12:30 the children will have their choice of hot dogs/chips or pizza and a pop. After the party, you and your guests are invited to stay "all day" and enjoy the pool, slides, sprayground and sand play areas!
Fee: $130 (up to 15 children and adults) |

| Private Evening Parties At The Aquatic Center |
| Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, team parties or office get togethers under the lights. Invite them all to your own private Aquatic Center! Watch the sunset as you party until dark. You have exclusive use of the Aquatic Center – pool, slides, sand volleyball as well as sand and sprayground areas for the little ones. Reservations are available from June 6 – August 2.
Times: Weekdays 8:30 – 10:30 pm | Weekends 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Fee: $275 for the first 75 people ($4 each additional person)

| Glendale Heights Dolphin Swim Team |
Grab your goggles, get your suit, and dive in for a summer of fun. The recreational, semi-competitive, Glendale Heights Dolphins Swim team is a great program that stresses not only sportsmanship, but fun! Previous competitive experience is not necessary. The first week of practice will take place from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Beginning the week of June 6th, practices will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 – 9:00 am. Times will vary by age group. Meets are on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The season runs from the 2nd week in June through the 1st weekend in August. Registration meeting is on May 7 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Ages: 6 to 18
Prerequisites: Must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards)
Late Fee: $10 after May 30

| Lifeguard Training (Ages 15 & Up) |
This course is taught by Certified Starguard Instructors. Participants will be put through a complete Starfish Aquatics Institute Lifeguard course. Skills taught include rescues, first aid, CPR and AED. Registration does not guarantee certification. Students must demonstrate proper skills as well as pass written exams. Completion of this class is required for new lifeguards seeking employment with the Village of Glendale Heights, but does not guarantee placement.
