| Cat & Dog First Aid (Ages 16 & Up) |
First aid for cats and dogs is the immediate and temporary care given to an injured animal until it can be taken to a professional veterinarian for medical care and attention. This course will teach participants how to be prepared for emergencies that involve a cat or dog and how to protect themselves and the animal from further harm, injury or suffering during emergencies by teaching prompt, effective first aid actions and care. Please do not bring your pets to class! As wonderful as your pets are, they can be unpredictable around strangers and other animals. For the safety of others in the class, please leave your cat at home.
