| Skate Park Rules: |
- CAUTION: Inline skating and skateboarding are high-risk recreation activities with inherent risks of serious injury.
- The skateboarding area is UNSUPERVISED and participants skate at their own risk.
- Skating after dark is prohibited.
- Skating in wet or icy conditions is prohibited.
- Park will be closed during inclement weather.
- No bicycles allowed.
- The skate park is open during park operating hours, April through October.
- It is recommended that children under 8 years old be accompanied by an adult.
- It is recommended that proper protective equipment (ANSI or Snell approved helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, etc.) be used during skating activities.
- No personally owned ramps, boxes, or other devices may be brought into the facility.
- Please be courteous of other park users.
- No food or beverages allowed in skating area.
- Bringing glass into the area is PROHIBITED.
- Smoking is not allowed at any time inside the skating area.
- Appropriate language and behavior are required at all times. Be courteous to others. Observe skate etiquette to keep this a safe program for all.
- No tagging, graffiti, or stickers are allowed.
- Please keep skating area clean.
- Broken equipment or unsafe conditions should be reported to the Sports Hub office at 250 Civic Center Plaza, Glendale Heights or call 260-6060.
- This skate park was built for your enjoyment. Please respect and follow the rules for the safety of you and others. Keep the park safe - it belongs to you!!
- Breaking of these rules may result in a fine per Village Code 8-1-2.
- For emergencies, dial 911.
- In the event rules are not being followed, the Glendale Heights Parks & Recreation Department may elect to temporarily or permanently close this park.
Skate Park Hours
April 1 - May 31, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
June 1 - August 31, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 p.m.
September 1 - October 31, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
