The Glendale Heights Parks, Recreation & Facilities Administrative offices are located at the Sports Hub, 250 Civic Center Plaza. Staff is available to answer any questions you may have about any programs.

Sports Hub Facility

The Sports Hub in Glendale Heights is a complete recreational facility comprised of:

• Four (4) Preschool rooms, licensed by the State of Illinois equipped with all that is necessary to introduce your preschooler to the excitement of learning.
  
  
• Three (3) gymnasiums which hold activities such as basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, dances, etc.
  
  
• Two studios for dance classes, martial arts and exercise.
  
  
• Indoor Soccer Arena
  
  
• A Fitness Center equipped with paramount equipment, 1,000 pounds of free weights, an exercise bike, a recumbent bike, abdominal machine, lat machines, incline bench, full set of solid dumbbells, 4 treadmills, elliptical machine, butterfly and many other devices that will help firm up those unwanted inches. Stairmaster machines also available.
  
  
• One meeting room which can hold up to 50 people for your meetings or social group.
  
  
• One teen room equipped with table tennis, TV, VCR, Sega, stereo, air hockey and pool table.

Glendale Heights Aquatic Center

Pool passes for the 2010 season go on sale May 1st! Buy your passes during the month of May and SAVE BIG!

Glendale Heights Dolphin Swim Team
Grab your goggles, get your suit, and dive in for a summer of fun. The recreational, semi-competitive, Glendale Heights Dolphins Swim team is a great program that stresses not only sportsmanship, but fun. Previous competitive experience is not necessary. The first week of practice will take place from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Beginning the week of June 7th, practices will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 – 9:00 am. Times will vary by age group. Meets are on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The season runs from the 2nd week in June through the first weekend in August. Call the Sports Hub at (630) 260-6060 if you have questions or need further information. Registration meetings from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on 4/17 & 5/8.

Prerequisites: Must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards)
Discount Registration Date: 9 am to 12 pm on April 17
Late Fee: $10 after May 30

Private Evening Parties at the Aquatic Center
Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, team parties or office get togethers under the lights. Invite them all to your own private Aquatic Center! Watch the sunset as you party until dark. You have exclusive use of the Aquatic Center – pool, slides, sand volleyball as well as sand and sprayground areas for the little ones. Reservations are available from June 6 – August 2.
Times: Weekdays 8:30 – 10:30 pm | Weekends 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Fee: $275 for the first 75 people ($4 each additional person)

Aquatic Center Birthday Parties
Bring the party to the Aquatic Center and leave the cooking and fun to us! All you have to do is bring the cake. Parties begin at 11:30 am (before opening to the public) with fun and games until 12:00 pm. From 12:00 – 12:30 the children will have their choice of hot dogs/chips or pizza and a pop. After the party, you and your guests are invited to stay “all day” and enjoy the pool, slides, sprayground and sand play areas!
Fee: $130 (up to 15 children and adults) |$120 w/pool pass
$4 each additional person over 15 guests

Non-Resident Policy

Registration will be limited to residents only during the first 7 days of any registration period. After 7 days, registrations will be accepted from anyone interested. Once a non-resident is registered for a specific program he/she will be allowed to register during the same time period as a resident for that particular program.
