
Secretary of State Service Available at the Village Hall
Glendale Heights, IL - The Village of Glendale Heights has added a new public service for its residents.
The Secretary of the State issued Temporary Disability Parking Placards are available at the Village Hall.
A Temporary Disability Parking Placard is good only for the length of time certified by a physician, up to
a maximum period of six months.
“As a convenience to Glendale Heights residents, the Village has added this public service to assist those
in need of temporary parking placards. Temporary Disability Parking Placards are now available through
the Administrative Services Department during the Village’s normal business hours,” expresses Linda Jackson, Village
President. In order to obtain a Temporary Disability Placard, you must return the "Persons with Disability Certification" form signed
by your Physician. Forms are available at the Administrative Service’s counter. You may also download a form
by visiting the Secretary of the State’s website at www.cyberdriveillinois.com (click on the "Services" link and then the "Persons with Disabilities" link).
The Village also warns that if any person who knowingly misuses or makes a false or
misleading statements on an application can be fined up to $1,000, and may be issued a 30-day driver’s
license suspension. Parking Placard must be used by the disabled driver
or passenger that it is assigned to.
