The Glenside Fire Protection District proudly serves the residents of Glendale Heights south of the I/C train tracks and all of the residents of Glen Ellyn Countryside. The District operates out of one centrally located fire station, covering approximately four square miles and 32,000 residents. The Fire District responded to over 2,400 calls for emergency service last year including various types of fires and medical emergencies.

The mission of the Bloomingdale Fire Protection District #1 is to assure the safety and well-being of the District we serve, by providing prompt and professional services in the event of fire, medical emergencies, disasters, or any other event that may threaten the public welfare.
The Fire Prevention Bureau conducts inspections of commercial, industrial, and multi-family buildings within its jurisdiction. Plans are also reviewed for new construction, tenant space remodeling, and fire alarm/sprinkler drawings.
Tours , educational information, fire extinguisher training, fire safety trailer, and presentations to businesses, schools and groups within the community are available upon request. Call 630.894.9080 for information about other District programs.
