“To the residents of Glendale Heights I want to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to make the Village the best it can be. We have the best residents because they give us the encouragement that we need to keep going as representatives of our community. We have a Village Board with mutual respect for the residents, the executive staff, and the employees. Our police department and fire districts are all team players, which totally helps in our plans for the future. We are so lucky to live in Glendale Heights, it is a community for the people. I again want to thank the residents, especially District 2, for all your support. If you have a question or concern I want you to remember that I am a phone call away. I hope to see and meet many more families as they participate in the programs and events that the Village of Glendale Heights has to offer. There are so many of them! “I’ve lived in the Village of Glendale Heights for the past 42 years, and I am very proud to serve as District 5 Trustee. I believe the ability to serve the public is the highest honor that can be bestowed on a citizen and I welcome the opportunity to continue to work with fellow board members in addition to our dedicated staff and volunteers to the betterment of our Village. The torn and tattered flag program that I championed has been a huge success since 2004, with over 4,000 flags deposited in our flag recycling box outside Village Hall. I want to thank all the residents who have supported me in my policy decisions through letters, e-mails and phone calls. I’m also grateful for the new businesses who chose Glendale Heights as a great place to open their operations. My wife and I want to wish you a wonderful and prosperous 2013.”
