The primary goal and responsibly of the Purchasing Division is to obtain the best value possible for the taxpayer’s dollar within the rules and regulations that govern public purchase of goods and services. The Village strives to purchase at the lowest possible cost, consistent with the needs of the user department. 

Business Opportunities

The Village of Glendale Heights seeks quotations, bids, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the purchase and acquisition of equipment, supplies, materials, and professional services. Small purchases are acquired through obtaining prices quotations with vendors interested in doing business with the Village.  Higher value purchases are acquired under a competitive bid or request for proposal process.  We encourage firms interested in doing business with the Village to submit information relating to your business for future consideration in purchasing opportunities.

Current Bid  Listing

The Village has joined with DemandStar.com to provide bid information on-line. There is no charge to view the current bid listing. Interested vendors can choose to download bid documents and automatically receive notification when a formal bid has been issued for a minimum fee. Bid information is also available by monitoring the Daily Herald Newspaper legal advertisement section, and direct contact with the Village staff.

As always, vendors are welcome to pick up the solicitation document in person at the Village Municipal Center, 300 Civic Center Plaza, Glendale Heights, IL  60139.
